Originally founded in Los Angeles and now thriving in Durham, North Carolina, Flying Apple is an independent vintage shop offering a meticulously curated selection of vintage apparel. We developed a comprehensive identity system featuring logos, custom illustrations, and a cohesive graphic language. Both the logotype and graphic elements share a distinctive cut-paper quality that reflects the shop’s DIY spirit. Playful shapes frame photography and text, while the logotype’s movement nods to the charming idiosyncrasies of stop-motion. High-contrast, elegant illustrations evoke a romantic sensibility that mirrors the shop’s eclectic style.
