Getaway is an alcohol-free cocktail bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, offering a refreshing escape from daily life. We developed an identity system that captures its laid-back attitude through distinctive logos, a custom typeface, and playful imagery. The “0%” symbol proudly marks its alcohol-free offerings, while every other design element plays with slant to evoke relaxation. The variable, backslanted logotype and custom typeface can be manipulated on the website, and even the ingredient imagery is distorted with a slight slant, reinforcing Getaway’s unconventional, fun atmosphere.
